David finally calls me "Mama"!!! He started saying it as we were leaving the Whitelaw Christmas, but it had to be coaxed out of him. He kept practicing and on the morning of December 27th, he called me "Mama" completely unprovoked!!! It was like music to my ears. It's now his favorite word. Here he is saying his new word along with practicing some manners. 

He also likes to show us his happy face and sad face, it's pretty funny.

On another note, we went out to dinner tonight and got several comments on how well behaved, along with cute, David was in the restaurant. One lady even said she wished her two grandsons were as good as David so she could bring them out to dinner with her. It was a very proud moment for Ryan and I. We are working very hard to raise David (and soon Rachael) to be mannered, respectful, and kind to all people. David has the last one down already. I think he said "Hi" to everyone in the restaurant! I've had people question how strict we are with him at his young age, but tonight I got affirmation that our hard work  and dedication is paying off.
