Last Day of School and David's Graduation 2015

Also in May David and Rachael wrapped up another year of school. These years are going by so fast and they are changing SO much. Here's the beginning of this school year. They aren't little babies too much anymore, but they are just as cute and fun!

Rachael's last day was May 11th.

Class party fun!

 With some yummy food!

A picture with one of her best friends, Kaylin. She was going to another school next year unfortunately.

Saying goodbye to her incredible teachers!
Ms. Nicole

And Ms. Brandy

Rachael loved her second year of school. She had great teachers who taught her so much. We are thankful for them and the blessing they were to Rachael's development. She was super exited for Pre-K next!

David's last day was on May 12th.

David's class party started with one last story with Corky, the class squirrel.

One last hug from Corky.

Time to eat, but first the blessing.

They had a luau on the floor.

 Rachael enjoyed the party too.

Goodbye Corky [and Ms. Su].

And then that night, this happened:

Pre-K Graduation!

 There was some cute singing:

A cute end of school poem:

And then he got a diploma!

After the graduation there was a reception. There, we were able to view all the graduates' self portraits made from little pieces of paper. SO cute!

David gave these flowers to Rachael.

A few photos with the graduate.

I was a complete emotional wreck during that evening. I just couldn't help but think that this was just a glimpse into our future. Watching David [and Rachael] graduate from high school will be here before we know it. I don't want it to get here too fast. Stay little, babies, stay little!

Annie Gets A New Home

At the end of May we began renting our old house. This meant that Annie needed to be relocated. Our new backyard is not conducive to having a goat, so we had to find her a new home. Thankfully this was an easy task.
Right after we got Annie we took her for our nephew's class to check out because it was 'Farm Week' in their classroom. While we were there we met a very kind lady who worked at the school. She was super interested in Annie. At that time she informed us that if we ever wanted to sell or relocate Annie for any reason, she would love to have her. The woman and her husband own a farm with other goats, rabbits and other critters. So, when it came time to move Annie we knew she would be in kind, welcoming, caring hands.
But, that didn't make her last day with us much easier. I have to admit, I cried. Yes, over a goat. But, she wasn't just any goat. She was our baby before we had babies, we had rescued her, she was a part of our family.

She rode to her new home in the back of Ryan's truck in Chief's kennel. She wasn't too happy about it at first, but she laid down soon after she was in there.

We all said our goodbyes.

David was pretty sad.

Rachael was excited for Annie to get to go live on a real farm.

We haven't had a chance to yet, but we would really love to go visit her and check out her new place. We miss her very much. The kids still pray for her every night.

David Takes Off on Two Wheels

On David's fifth birthday he decided he was ready to take the training wheels off of his bike.

He watched his Daddy very closely as he removed the wheels.

Ready?

Set.

 Go!!

 SO proud of himself!

There was other fun that day too. We went to church that morning. Had lunch, David opened a few presents from us, he took a nap, was awakened with a room full of balloons, and finished off his birthday cake after dinner.

A few weeks after taking the training wheels off his bike, David wanted them back on. We don't know why. He was doing really well with them off! But, he wouldn't ride his bike, so Ryan put them back on. We're hoping his confidence will increase and soon he will be ready to take them off, again.
