We set up David's Big Boy Room with all the great things Santa brought for it. It looks GREAT!!!
All of David's bedroom furniture was Ryan's and now it's David's!

His new bedding

 David testing it out

Ryan just had to teach him how to jump on the bed

 Playing on his new rug

A look at the whole room ( Twinkle and Bosco gave him the red bin toy basket)

It rained all day yesterday, so David never had a chance to really break in his tricycle. Today was a beautiful, sunny day. We all went for a walk/ride in the neighborhood. It started off like this.

 And ended like this.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Santa came to our house!!!

He ate the cookies and left some great presents for David and Rachael

David got an awesome tricycle that he loves

It even has a bell!

Santa, himself, made this step stool just for David

He likes it

He also got this super cool talking truck

Santa gave David his bedding, a hamper and a rug for his "big boy room"

Rachael was excited to watch David play with all the toys, but looks forward to taking part in the fun next year

Bogie was ready to open his stocking. Somehow he knew it was Christmas as soon as we got downstairs. He was just as excited as David.

David checking out his stocking

Then we all opened presents and David helped

When David went up for his nap, Rachael got her turn to check out her stocking and gifts from Santa

She loves her "Violet"

Her baby doll is as big as her!

David also got some new sippy cups with straws. He liked sharing them with his Daddy.

We then attempted a family picture in front of the tree. It's hard to get the perfect one with two
babies and a dog. These are the best we could do.

Cookies for Santa

The kids and I made cookies for Santa when we got home yesterday.

Rachael wanted to help, but was getting tired

David was very excited to help

 Rachael couldn't handle the excitement

 David was a great helper

All that helping made him very thirsty

It takes a lot longer to make cookies when there's a toddler involved, but it's so much more fun!

After dinner, we set out the cookies with a glass of milk for Santa. David and Rachael have their own special plates.

Whitelaw Christmas

On the 23rd we headed down to Twinkle and Bosco's house for Christmas with them and Uncle Michael and Aunt Nicole!
The weather was not too cold, Ryan showed David the trampoline he used to play on as a kid. David thought it was SO much fun!

David wanted Rachael and I to join the fun

Then it was time to open presents!!

Rachael enjoyed taking in all the action from her seat

David isn't really into taking pictures with other people these days

But, he loves to take them with Bogie

David helped everyone open their presents

The next morning he (and Bogie) was still worn out from all the fun

A precious picture of Twinkle and Rachael

Sometimes David wants to hold Rachael. It's the sweetest thing!

Going in for a kiss

And a hug

I have sacrificed my dignity to share these incredibly precious pictures. You may find this hard to believe, but our house is not picture perfect. Yes, those are clothes piled up behind me. I'm just glad they're clean.
