Do you know of any other 26 month olds who can do this?
Yesterday, after watching Ma, Big Daddy, Ryan, and me water ski David announced loudly, "Mine turn!" as he patted his chest. We questioned him a bit trying to deduce whether he really wanted to ski or was just being silly. It turns out he was very serious. We didn't have his ski with us then and it was getting close to dinnertime. We promised him he could ski first thing in the morning.
After eating his breakfast this morning, he was ready for action. To help David with the ski, Ryan got in the water with him as Ma pulled David in by hand from the back of the boat [still in the boat slip]. David loved it and did incredibly well for a 26 month old! Then this afternoon, he thought he was ready to have the boat pull him and it turned out- he was right! David got up his first try and skied until his little feet slid out of the boots.

He sure has a lot of courage and and certainty for a 26 month old. That sweet, smiling face has assurance written all over it.
David, you spunky little one, Twinkle and Bing are so proud of you.
