I couldn't wait to take David to the beach to feel the ocean water and the sand between his toes. As soon as the cars were unloaded and the sun went down a good bit, we threw on a hat and headed out. (his tongue is ALWAYS sticking out these days, he is very impressed with himself)
He took a moment with his Dad and Bogie to survey the area.
Then, I held him while his little feet squished into the sand and felt the ocean for the first time.
He enjoyed it for a few minutes until a wave came up from behind us and got his back totally wet!! He was not a happy boy after that. He was wet, sandy, sticky and very upset about it. Once we got him dried off and comfortable he could relax a little bit.
And don't worry about Bogie! He's having a great time, too!
