We finally had a chance to carve our pumpkins, or at least prep them for carving. David helped his Daddy with the pumpkins on the kitchen floor this afternoon. I put him in only a diaper and pacifier because I thought it might get a little messy and I didn't want him sneaking a taste of the pumpkin!
At first he was only interested in the newspaper.
Once he saw the pile of pumpkin, he grabbed some and wasn't so sure about this gooey stuff. But, by the end he was pulling out pieces and squishing the pumpkin in his hands.
He didn't end up as messy as I thought he would, but enjoyed it nonetheless.
