Ryan returned home last night, much to our delight. David ran into the yard screaming with excitement when I told him Daddy was home. 

So, that meant today we got our Christmas tree!!! The weather was perfect for selecting a tree with two small children. The tree we ended up picking was the first one we looked at! David enjoyed helping his Daddy pick out the perfect tree. Rachael and I mostly watched.

 After David went to bed Rachael supervised her Daddy as he put the lights on the tree. 

 Then, all of a sudden...she found her feet! She would wiggle them and smile. Her arms would go everywhere because she was so excited to learn that she was controlling those cute, little toes under her Christmas socks.

 It was SO precious!
