The Beach Continued

We had a great time at the beach with Ryan's family this past week! Just like our beach trip in June, I have so many pictures to share!

It rained for the first few days. There was one time we tried to
make a go of it between showers, but we gave up quickly once
the rains started again. Check out that sky behind the kids!

David played in the rain on the porch just so he could be outside.



Finally, the sun came out and it was time to play!


David had a great time digging in the sand with Twinkle.

And Rachael loved pulling up on anything nearby.






















After all that playing, Rachael, of course, had to take a nice beach nap while David joked around with Bing.

Even little cousin, Parker, was able to get some beach time in once the skies cleared.

There was fun to be had inside too, in a fort Twinkle built in the living room.

One night we celebrated Uncle Michael and Aunt Nicole's birthdays. Of course, David was a great help at blowing out the candles and opening presents.

He was so sweet trying to comfort Parker when he would cry and gave him several kisses too.

When we weren't at the beach, we had some fun pool time too. Rachael and I love this float!

One day Ryan and Uncle Michael went fishing and brought back some good eats. 

David and Rachael would play so hard all day that by nap time they were exhausted. I got to be in the middle of this nap sandwich; it was wonderful. I love how they are in the same position, so sweet.

On the last day, Rachael was being such a silly girl. She would be crawling on the beach and all of a sudden go flat on her belly, eat some sand, and continue crawling. It was hilarious!
