Sunflower Festival 2014

Boy, oh boy! Things just keep getting busier around here. As David and Rachael get more active AND we prepare to move [more on that later!], my time to sit at a computer and blog about our fun is rapidly decreasing. I am, however, pretty active on Instagram, if you'd like to follow me on there [user name: lindsaywhitelaw]! 99.9% of my pictures are of David, Rachael, Chief, and Sally.

But, it's very important to me to continue blogging here for our family and friends who live far away or who we just don't see as much as we'd like and for our own family's records. I just love looking back at older posts either out of necessity or entertainment.

So, the next few posts are going to be catch up post all about our goings-on this Fall. Then I will post about Rachael's birthday and by the time I get that all written and posted, Halloween will probably have come and gone, so I'll go ahead and add it to the list!

First, we attended one of our favorite small town events- The Sunflower Festival, just down the road in Statham.

The petting zoo was by far the kids' favorite attraction.

They also loved riding the little train all around the festival grounds.

Checking out these really cool remote controlled planes.

And this experimental plane.

David got to sit in it!

They tried to figure out how to drive this RTV.

Even Chief had a great time meeting new friends.
