Last night we celebrated Ma's birthday.
David enjoyed helping her open her presents, but most of all he loved playing with the wrapping paper.
We (minus Ryan- he caught up with us later) ate dinner and cake together.
Then, I left David with a wonderful, trustworthy babysitter/family friend for the night while we went to a fantastic Christmas play, which we look forward to seeing every year! David did fine with the sitter, so that was a relief for me. I worried about him a lot and missed him even more. I'm not very comfortable leaving him with anyone, so this was a big step for me. But, I don't see it happening again anytime too soon...
