We've taken yet another step away from David being a baby. Since he is able to pull up now, he pulls stunts like these in his little whale tub:

Bath time became a struggle to keep him from hurting himself. So, tonight David moved into his bathtub- a "big boy" tub. He absolutely loved it. It was like a whole new world...a world with water you can crawl in! He was intrigued by the drain, thrilled with the freedom, and proud of himself every second in was in the tub.

I thank God everyday that I have a healthy, super happy, perfectly developing baby boy, but I wish he would stop growing so fast! I can't believe how quickly time passes now that I have this precious little man in my life. I'm reminded of the words to David's great-great grandmother's (Carrie Haynes) favorite song:

There is beauty all around,
When there’s love at home;
There is joy in ev’ry sound,
When there’s love at home.
Peace and plenty here abide,
Smiling sweet on ev’ry side;
Time doth softly, sweetly glide,
When there’s love at home;
Love at home, love at home,
Time doth softly, sweetly glide,
When there’s love at home.
