This morning while I was vacuuming his room, David was happily playing in his crib with a few toys. I turned my back on him for one second and turn around and see this:

He did this on Monday morning as well, but he didn't realize what he had done and never tried it again. But, you may be able to tell by the red spot above his right eyebrow that he got the hang of this new trick quickly this time. So, down goes the mattress again.

Additionally, this is one of those rare weekends we are actually at home, so we wanted to do something fun. A little town nearby was hosting a Christmas fair today, so we went. It was a very, very small festival. It didn't take us too long to see everything it had to offer, but David had a great time. He was squealing with delight most of the time we were there.
