Yesterday, we had a very long day of traveling to get home. This trip on the plane did not go quite as smoothly as the last. David should have been ready for a nap half way through the flight, but instead he got a second wind and was very excited to be on the plane. Thankfully, Ma and Big Daddy were able to sit in front of us! I found myself stunned at the phrases that were coming out of my mouth:
"David, please don't chew on the back of that seat."
"David, please don't chew on the back of that seat."
"David, how did you get upside down in your car seat?"
"David, please just sit still and eat your cookie!"
He was going a mile a minute and it was all we could do to keep him contained. When the captain announced we were beginning our descent and all passengers needed to be buckled in, I put David back in his seat. I thought he would put up a huge fight. But, within one minute he was asleep- his cookie in hand (and on his face).
