Our best friends,The Cannons, welcomed their newest baby girl, Afton Ruth, on June 10, 2014. Because they are just such wonderful people who've never met a stranger, The Cannons have lots of friends, I mean lots of friends. While adjusting to being a mother of two [20 months apart], Stephanie was also scheduling and hosting the parade of well-wishers at their home as they came to meet sweet Afton. So, when she was 13 days old it was our turn in "line" and we got to see big sister Shiloh and meet baby Afton!!
Ryan actually held her first, if you can believe that. But, I didn't have my camera out and ready yet, so I go no pictures of him with her [if you can believe that!]. That didn't last long though because guess who wanted to hold her next.....

See his cowboy gun in it's holster? I think that's just so cute! He can be a rough, tough cowboy and then so gentle and sweet with little ones. I love it.
Rachael was actually so busy playing with Shiloh that she didn't realize she could have a turn holding Afton. But, when I asked her if she wanted to hold her, she immediately dropped what she was doing and wanted me to hand Afton over. [Shiloh came with her]
Rachael was fascinated with Afton's face.
You better believe I got to love on that sweet little girl!
What a blessing this little angel is! We couldn't be happier for The Cannons. We're excited to watch Afton grow and pray that we will always be a part of her life.
