We recently took the kids to a nearby park for an evening of putt-putt. There was only one other couple on the entire course, so we were able to take our time, which was good since sometimes it took David and Rachael a few extra strokes to get their balls in.
We began with an instructional demonstration from Daddy.
I don't think David listened to much Ryan had to say, he just wanted to HIT the ball as hard as he could.
Rachael needed a little extra help to start off.
But, she soon got the hang of it. If she couldn't get the ball in by hitting it a few times, she would eventually pick it up and put it in.
Along the course there were bridges.
Waterfalls.
Creeks. [Rachael really wanted to get in this one]
A covered bridge.
And a little white church to investigate.
David was very intense about his putt-putting the entire time.
Rachael enjoyed it, but also liked taking breaks and watching David.
Rachael and Mama, somewhere along the course.
Everyone's favorite hole was the one where you intentionally hit your ball in the water and it came out down stream.
Rachael even got a hole in one!
we did this one a few times.
By the time we were all finished we were exhausted! We all had so much fun.
David and Rachael were both asking, as we were putting them in their car seats, when we were going to come back.
