HAPPY EASTER!
We celebrated Easter all weekend long this year. To make things a bit easier on us, my family allowed us to move our usual Easter dinner on Sunday to an Easter lunch on Saturday. We were able to spend more time with both families this way.
So, on Saturday David and Rachael, Ricky and Cate, along with Hannah Grace (my cousin's little girl) got together for an Easter egg hunt at Ma and Big Daddy's house.
GranGran and Papaw looking over their great-grandchildren.
And they were off!
David had a little help from Ryan as he looked for the eggs that were hiding. [That's how we explained it to him.] He loved it.
Then he wanted to show off, and even share some of, his finds with Rachael. Such a sweet big brother!
Rachael loved watching all the kids hunt the Easter eggs. It's hard to believe that she will be running around with them next year!

Then, on Sunday, we headed to Twinkle and Bing's house for a combination Easter/Birthday party. David and Rachael's Great-Granddaddy will be turning 88 soon, so we took the opportunity to celebrate it while everyone was together.
David loves any chance he can get to sing "Happy Birthday" and help blow out the candles. Doesn't Rachael look like a baby doll is Sarah's arms?!
Rachael got passed around a lot and was happy to have the attention for a little while...
She even got some alone time with her 91 year old Great-Grandmother.
And David joined them.
This is Rachael's Great-Aunt Angie. Rachael is wearing the dress Angie made just for her. How special is that?!
