Mama's Girl

There is one person in this world that can truly make Rachael happy- her Mama. Ever since she was born, long before she was supposed to care (that's according to the doctor) she has, without a doubt, loved her Mama the most. If I happen to put her down, she keeps up with my whereabouts at all times, and if I leave her sight she is less than thrilled about it. I am surprised she is sitting up so well now because she stays on my hip 90% of the day. She wants her Mama to hold her all. the. time. But, I don't mind. Why? Because I know that in a year from now (or less) she won't want me to hold her so much. She'll be running around trying to keep up with David and Bogie. So, I have learned to do most tasks with one hand and often feel strange when I have the use of both. We also continue to utilize the Baby Bjorn whenever we possibly can. 

Rachael is a dream come true for me, my little girl. And I will take ever chance I can get to hold her because I know the day she leaves for college will be here before I know it. Until then, I'll enjoy every moment with my precious baby girl.
