This weekend we had SO much fun at our local pickin' farm. Several times we have been there to pick fresh strawberries, blueberries, and our pumpkins for Halloween.
This year the kids were finally old enough to enjoy all the fun activities this farm has. So, we decided this would be a great weekend to check it all out. I don't even know where to start! There was so much to see and do.
Here are just a few of the highlights.
There were pig races.
David watched from Daddy's shoulders.

Mama held Rachael up so she could see, but she wasn't so sure what everyone was looking at.

There was a cow train that at first David was excited about but just before it was about to leave, David changed his mind and hopped out. Okay. Whatever.

I know you can't see it completely, but can you figure out the name of his cow? Clearly, Mama picked that one.
There was a hay ride to and from the activity area. David was mostly interesting in keeping an eye on the guy driving the tractor- gotta make sure this guy knows what he's doing. Rachael loved feeling the wind blowing in her face.

They got up close and personal with a horse-

A washtub full of chicks

And a baby goat

My animal-loving little girl was trying to feed all the animals, even the grown chickens who were afraid of her.

When we would tell her it was time to move on to the next group of animals she would get so upset because she didn't want to leave the animals she was visiting. See the tight grip she has on the fence, she wasn't going easily.

David's favorite activities was what they called the "Air Pillow", but David just called it "dat BIG'UN trampoline".

Rachael wasn't quite big enough for that this year, but she loved watching David jump.

We also went through a very long corn maze. At one point we stopped for a drink of water and a photo-op.
I'm sorry. I know I'm prejudice, but my goodness, are those not the cutest kids you have ever seen?

We had such an unbelievable fun time. We're already looking forward to next year!

Can you believe this was a year ago?!

Oh, and the year before that.

Time is flying.
