Beach Trip Part 4 (The Last Installment, I Promise)

On the rare chance we weren't at the beach we were still having fun or sleeping.

Everyday after lunch it was nap time. I love this time, even at home. The kids are both so sweet and warm and snugly. But, at home I don't have the luxury of really enjoying that time because there's lots of things I need to do during nap time. Well, on vacation that all changes, at least some days.

This might be my favorite picture of all- Mama in her happy place, covered in her babies.

The kids, especially David, LOVED to help Ryan shuck oysters.

Ready to shuck!

He got pretty good at it. Look at the intensity on his face.

Rachael trying to figure this thing out.

One day during our second week we took our annual Intracoastal boat ride to Port St. Joe Bay.

David thought he was such a big boy because he got to sit in the front with Ricky this year.

Rachael sat with her Mama, of course.

Oh, and Mama and Daddy took a picture together!

Once there we all enjoyed looking at the other fishing boats and eating lunch overlooking the bay.

On the way back David sat with Aunt Laureen and his cousins again.

And Rachael took a nap. [so precious]

Toward the end of the last week it started raining off and on. So, one morning we took a short trip to the local museum. The kids loved "riding" the big turtle the most.

The last night together we celebrated Father's Day with my dad, Big Daddy.

Of course, as usual, on the last night at the beach we did footprints in the sand.
