Valentine's Party

Nearly a week after Valentine's Day the kids finally got to have their Valentine's parties at school. Because of the snow and then President's Day, they were pushed back a lot. But, that was okay with them, they had no idea.

They had a great time at their parties.

Rachael saying the blessing with her class. And keeping an eye on the boy next to her misbehaving...

Digging in to their party food.

Thankfully, David's class started their party a little later. Once Rachael was busy enjoying her "snack", I walked over to David's classroom.

My happy boy ready to party!

 Saying their blessing.

After saying their blessing, they all sang a song about hearts. SO cute!

I love the Southern accent!!

 Food time!

When I went back to check on Rachael she was up to her elbows in cupcake frosting!

When Rachael was finished with her food, she wanted to go with me to check on David. She was greeted by her big brother with a hug and a kiss. There was a loud, "Awwww", from all the other moms in the room.

He even shared his cakepop with her, which she quickly accepted. So sweet of him.

Before leaving we took a few pictures. David wanted to take one of Rachael [still working on that cakepop] and me.

This little girl has a HUGE crush on David.  Back in October she said it was her goal to make him her boyfriend by Valentine's Day. I don't think she succeeded. David's not looking for anything serious right now...read the shirt.

As we started walking out the door, the girls lined up to hug David good-bye. What is this?! It's only PreSchool, girls!

Such fun! And that little bachelor is too much! Almost as much as that cupcake frosted little girl!!
